The Microfilm ScanPro 500 microfilm scanner for Newspapers and Engineering Drawings
A compact, low cost solution for scanning large size images on microfilm. Examples of large film images are engineering drawings, architectural drawings, and newspapers. The ScanPro 500 is a FULL VIEW scanner that scans the complete image. It uses high resolution, wide angle lenses to capture the full image so that you can zoom to locate the detail that you want for viewing and printing.
ScanPro 500 is a scanner-to-PC model for Engineering size drawings and Newspapers on 35mm microfilm and for Aperture Cards. The ScanPro 500 utilizes precision, high resolution lens to obtain the best possible image from your microfilm. You use the included easy-to-use software to e-mail, fax, network, print to network printers, print to printers connected to your computer (a common application is to use an 11" X 17" laser printer to provide a larger working copy), save to your hard drive, save to CDs, right from your PC. The price of the base unit includes: Combination Aperture Card/Fiche Carrier, One Drop-in Lens (select 10X or 7.7X), all Scanning Software, and ScanPro 500 to PC cable.
